Thought you might like some pics of my 70 Nova that I bought in 1972.
Originally a 307, 3 on the tree, no power anything (ps, pb, ac, etc.) and
was originally Gobi Beige. Car is now black with a balanced 327, .030 over,
461 heads, 62 cc chambers, 1.94 intakes, 3 angle valve job, TRW forged small
dome pistons (10.5/11:1 CR), Edlebrock Performer RPM, 650 Holley Spreadbore
dp, home made cowl air intake, recurved points dist, Comp Cams Extreme
Energy 262 (lift .460-.469, duration 218/224 @ .050), Cloyes true roller,
headers (1 5/8" primaries), turbo mufflers, 4 speed Saginaw (3.11, 2.20,
1.47, 1) and a 3.08 rear end with PowerTrax Limited slip.
Definitely not a race car but does accelerate well in 1st & 2nd gear and
gets 21+ mpg on the highway as long as I keep my foot out of it.
