Research Topic: 1969 -1972 Dash Bezels

When you ordered your new Nova you could pick from a standard interior, special interior, or custom interior. The Dash Speedometer Bezel was different for standard and custom interior options. Which bezel was used for Special interior? There is evidence that there are at least three different styles of bezel. Which were used with what option or was there a different option that dictated the bezel the factory installed.

Research Goal:

Determine which of the following dash bezels were used for standard interior, special interior, or custom interior.

Do you have a 1969 - 1972 Nova that still retains it's original Dash Bezel? If so, please send an email with the following:

Which Dash Speedometer Bezel chrome does your car have? #1, #2, or #3?

The VIN (We use this for indexing and date estimates. Really helpful if they changed mid year) (optional)

The Body Number? Same reason as VIN. (optional)

The trim code number from the trim tag?

Is there wood trim on the horn shroud?

Is your car a SS or not?

Does your Nova have any of the special interior options? Bright Pedal Trim, Bright Dome light rim, Glove box light, dome light switches on both front doors?
